Now that rugby season is upon us, it seemed intolerable not to have somewhere to share our pain, our hopes and our squabbles.
Please pile in BTL! There will no doubt be much tinkering with the site. Suggestions for improvements are welcome but may be discarded out of hand. We do not possess Sag-like wizardry.

Not really, no. Thought Italy had a chance, especially in the 1st half.
I’ve spread the word a bit: emailed Tomp, Ticht & Iks, posted on Supabru AOD and tweeted a few who followed the AOD account.

Italy bossed the first quarter. The commentators said something to the effect that ‘Ireland were looking a bit rusty, understandably’, but why did that not apply to Italy?
There was a very good silky Irish pass by I think Farrell that turned things around.

Aye there was.
The PI cup’s* been interesting. Fiji look like they’ve gone backwards, from beating France. USA are looking strong (Expro will be pleased) and Canada haven’t really improved (poor LADOAB). Tonga and Samoa are treading water and Japan look really good.
*Got up at 5am to watch it today.

Finished today. Japan won. Conveniently their final match, against USA, was also the ‘final’.
It was all on Youtube, which was convenient (apart from the KO times).
