Noice from Wales! Not sure a card was deserved there, but oh well.

That is nonsense

Good execution, but it was a bollox

Not sure about the yellow card, but anyway …

I got an ALMIGHTY bollocking last season from a Federation referee assessor for restarting play while a yellow card player was still leaving the field. Might forward him the clip of that.

What happened to Heinz? Missed why Youngs is on.

Apparently Heinz was receiving treatment when the penalty was taken, so England were down to 13. I hereby claim the moral victory.

Having seen the replay, I do see why it’s a card now.

Cheers TomP, Refit. I’ve been pillar to post and probably all my personal details are bring sucked dry n the interwebs as we speak. Got something running via SportLemons, so I saw the last 5 mins of the first half live.
Why is HalfP playing, and Navidi on? *Worries*

My problem with the card at the time was that Moriarty was in front of the pass, but I guess that doesn’t actually matter

Williams had a tweak on his hamstring in the warmup, Davies off for concussion and Navidi came on. Not exactly a drop off in ability.

My quick impression from the glimpse of the first half I had is that the game looks less intensive than last week, is that right?

BB, I’m a big Navidi fan, I think he’s very powerful but also is a very clever player

Iks – Liam had a slight pull on his hamstring just before the match, and the other was a bit of a head knock early on. Both subs pretty precautionary, I think.

Yup, same here.
Not as good as Hamish though……

Yep, I like Navidi too. And Hamish, as you know!

Breathes. Good to know. But now I hear Wainwright has been replaced by wispy Shings.

That was some maul defence by Wales.

I said at the end of last week’s game that the Welsh defence was some way off its suffocating best. It really is back today

FFS, Biggar takes a shoulder knock and they leave him on.

Defo time to take Biggar off now.

That was a lovely blind side move and what a dummy by George.
Looks like Biggar is buggered.

No, Biggar is still staying on.
I mean, what’s the point in having a look at your backup 10.

Navidi has impressed me. Ford and Youngs haven’t.

Interception by Maro and then a grubber by Sinckler. Madness.
Not sure about Biggar’s tackle on Itoje.

These matches are just not important compared to the WC. Wrap the players you need in cotton wool.
Biggar is not trying to save himself at all.

Wales conspicuous in acceleeating once they get to Oppos 22 – a la ABs.
England don’t!

Bit unnecessary from AWJ there.

Good luck with the op(s), Slade. I too have heard that hip replacements are a piece of piss these days; knee replacements less so.

@Thaum – I’d put it squarely on Gats. Left Anscombe out last week, leaving Biggar and Ball out this week.

Good win by Wales, controlled the game well and never let England in.
Top o’ the rankings as well.

Congrats to Wales, both teams will need more next month but for the time being, the heady heights of numero uno is cause for celebration

thought England were unimpressive, really.
Lots of hard work but many looked like they didn’t want to be there.
Hopefully Eddie will give one or two extra press-ups……………
