  1. I suspect Eddie and Gats agreed those results while scoffing that curry.

The Southern Hemisphere meanwhile puts it feet up.

Schalk Brits is cpataining South Africa today. He went to the same school as Willie le Roux, Damian Willemse and Herschel Jantjies. The school is Paul Roos Gymnasium in Stellenbosch. He’s the first Springbok captain from the school since the man Paul Roos himself in 1907.

What a surprise, Lavanini with a no arms shot, and he got off lightly

Great work by Sbu Nkosi. Neat pass by my boy to give him some space.

  10. Was at the Wales game. Quite a strange atmosphere. Not much singing from the Welsh fans, but a lot of booing unfortunately.

In terms of the play, that suffocating defence looks like it’s coming back. Scrum is worrying, but it may be more England being good than us being bad. Attack still a bit ragged. Think we knocked on every time we got on England’s 5m line. Thought G davies and A Davies were both ponderous, would be tempted to call a v hungry Webb in.

Wow, what an interception, Petti did really well to run it in from there

It was a forward, too, who made the intercept around the half-way line and made it all the way.

Reinach with an awful bit of play and Petti intercepts to run in from halfway. Good finish. Boks 8 – Pumas 10.

Looking at it on the replay, that interception pass should never have been thrown

We’ve got Smith on contract subject to RWC selection, we might get Ritchie or Bradbury back from Scotland but I doubt it

I’m not sure if we could sign anyone else in the timescale, we’ve signed a couple of new backrowers as it is

Credit where it is due, I haven’t agreed with his interpretation every time, but Luke Pierce has been great. He has listened to players and explained his decisions clearly and concisely
