To be honest Georgia have been worth their closeness in this game, they have been playing well, but Poite has given them all their momentum by rewarding them at the scrum, and it hasn’t been merited.

Poîte has always had his own unique take on the scrum.

Poite is a full on cock regarding his scrum interpretation, it’s really difficult to think he is anything other than biased

Chimpie, I think the difference between tier 1 and 2 is always most apparent in the last ten minutes, it’s all about depth in a 23 player game

Yeah like when we’d be in touch with the SH teams for 60 minutes then leak 40 points in the last 20

Not any more. We concede 30/40 points in the first half now. Then score 30 points in the second half..

Wow! That is a blast from the past, club v country – I didn’t even know it was happening. I just looked it up:

The home side will be boosted by the presence of one of their favourite sons, Andrew Walker, who will play his final game.

Poidevin said Walker had been impressing in appearances for the Classic Wallabies. The 45-year-old dual international will come off the bench against Argentina.

Fair play, older than me and his knees are probably almost as bad.

“Having very belatedly taken the stage, Johnson proceeded to die on his arse in front of rows of police officers. Does this technically count as a death in custody? Certainly, it bore all the hallmarks of such an event, of which there have been 1,718 since 1990, with not a single conviction for murder or manslaughter. Which is to say: it was brutal and disturbing, it happened right in front of multiple police pretending not to notice, and the victim was officially concluded to have done it to himself.”

    Ah, Marina.

How did the Kiwis go? Anyone got a good stream for the Aussies ?
Fuck Boris, Avs, he is nowhere near as much fun as Donzo. I am back in Uk for October, considering standing for dictator, could do with the money, and reckon the Brits may be stupid enough to fall for it. I have to admit I have smoked marijuana tho, and inhaled. Very deeply, on occasion, and held my breath for as long as possible.

Oh well, noone else up, BB in bed , so I will just drop this here, and mention that I do happen to have a nice old fashioned paper picture of Geoffrey riding in an old car with the Don at the SCG , taken from the Hill during a lunchbreak in the Bicentennial Test. Seen Hadlee cutting the Aussies in half at the MCG, got a pic of Devon Malcolm in the dressing room at Adelaide, watched Sylvester Clarke blow Middlesex away at the Oval, best innings I have ever seen was a 75 by Graham Roope against Glamorgan, proudly own a Boony Army shirt and hat from Hobart , played pool with Punter, but would surely love to watch Smith bat.

  40. Tim – we’ll need to get you a team of commandos to take over parliament. Unfortunately the country isn’t involved in a disastrous world war so the army might be difficult to swing to our side. However, we can always take over HMS Belfast as well. Hopefully people will see that we aren’t fucking around.

As, Marina Hyde didn’t need to write that column. Nothing could “outfunny ” Johnson’s performance this week. She was able to get her customary 90s film references in so not all was a waste of time.
