Oh I thought they were going to get a penalty try there

That wasn’t good by Mapimpi. Grand try but the All Blacks worked out how to stop the PS du Toit rush by just sending someone up to stand in his way,

They’re so clinical. SA drop off the intensity for one phase and they’ve gone end to end

World Cup suddenly doesn’t seem quite so wide open

  18. Apparently SA took the ‘hand-to-shoulder’ action, during the Haka, as tackling instructions.

Pollard’s not playing well. Nor is le Roux. Nor de Klerk.

Get the feeling NZ could turn it up a gear given a break

I can’t seem to like comments.

    Good game if ultimately dispiriting.

    Rusty ABs? Hahahaha!
Can’t see another RWCwinner. Although England…
That fortunate result for France makes their game vs England a must win for Argentina. Unless France lose to a minnow, as usual. Should be a very tasty game indeed. Still, England should top their pool easily.

I saw the second try but have mainly been listening on 5Live. Commentators saying SA on top first twenty and not much in it except NZ capitalising ruthlessly on SA mistakes. Fair reflection?

Dab, that is all correct but I’d add that the Boks looked very flat/rattled after NZ scored those back-to-back tries.

  29. @Dab – aye, that’s fair. ABs looking really flustered early on. Good SA pressure causing a lot of loose passes and shovelling the ball backwards. Then a couple of errors allowed NZ back in.
