Week One has provided some excellent rugby, dodgy refereeing and unfortunate injuries.
I think we can all unite around Uruguay as WC champions.
Other competitions are also starting up, so cancel all engagements and be prepared to spend your entire weekend and parts of the midweek glued to the screen. Hopefully not literally.
For those of you who lack rugby preparation skills, let me remind you to order in adequate supplies of booze, fags and possibly food.
Exciting rugby on the telly this week

North so close from a cross kick, but can’t get more than fingers on it. Back for a pen.

We used to lose those games, so even though it is very bad for my health, I’ll take it.

@FBC – I had to start tidying the kitchen and watch it with one eye after the second Oz try. Shredded nerves DOMINATING shredded wheat.

Who got man of the match? Think I’d go for Gareth Davies or Navidi.

Well done Wales for holding out (just). The last minutes of the first half when 10 points were cheaply shipped by Australia felt significant at the time and so it was to prove. Excellent game too watch with a revitalised second half for Oz .

Yosoy. Even the commentators called that a significant turnover in the match

Well done, Wales. Brilliant attacking in the first half, superb dogged defence in the second. And kudos to Oz for never giving up.

That pic is priceless. Live you could see it was a mistimed peck on the cheek, but a little saucy nonetheless. Think AWJ was commending North on his lovely tackle.
