White orcs and black orcs and green orcs and the daffodils

Heartbroken by Ireland’s tragic crash-out last week, I forgot about putting up a new post yesterday. So this is a rushed affair.

Tuilagi has kind of been freelance this game. All the better for it. Terrific tackle on Reece.

Nothing illegal there. Poor technique from Slade, though. Cheek to cheek, lad

That was actually awful from England. Poor throw, ok, and missed Itoje, but to have a prop sweeping the tail 5m out was stupid

Was gonna write that that was Ford’s 1st poor kick. Barrett, who has been poor all 2nd half, totally fcks it and England hot on attack again. Penalty should put them outside 7 points, and NZ haven’t looked close to scoring tries (other than that 1 crap lineout from England)
Underhill has been exceptional. All that time learning from Tipuric has paid dividends.

NZ’s attack is painfully easy to read. The dummy pod and pass behind every time. England are eating it up.

What an idiot. Totally unnecessary and may have killed the chance at a comeback. A score there, even a 3pt, would have had England very worried.
Still, no doubt NZ Herald now has their excuse

It has been absolutely outstanding. NZ have been very poor since the 20 minute mark, and much of that has been due to the way England have strangled them defensively
