What does this beauty spot have in common with the England 23 selected to play Ireland on Sunday?

The only other exciting news to report is that Ticht found an old version of AoD still extant.

England and France dominant in the 6 Nations. Labour elect a photogenic lawyer as leader. And something else probably.

    The 90s were shit.

Wonder if England might regret not getting a try bonus point? Still a couple of minutes to go though.

Can’t help thinking that if Cooney had started and taken the kicks at goal, it might have been a very different game.

But we were just comprehensively out-played as it was. Well done, ya big white ugly orcs.

  34. England turned up, Ireland didn’t. Funny thing is that if Ireland hadn’t had two brain farts behind the try line and had kicked their goals, it would have been a draw. Oh. Then Ireland score. Woulda won without those howlers. Cough.

All is not lost. All we have to do is get a bonus point and a shedload of points against Italy, then beat France. Piece of piss.

Minging performance from us. England very impressive. Scoreline flattered us. Loads of errors and several poor individuals but special word for Conor Murray – rancid.

Ireland never at the races, slow and predictable. Time to give a well deserved pension to both halfbacks.
As for England, very impressive at times, sloppy at others. Surprised they did not go for the BP with a 19 points cushion. Too cautious for their own good. The second half was soooo slow!
Tuilagi makes a big difference. Had he stayed fit in Paris, am not sure France would’ve prevailed.

And you never know, maybe Scotland will beat France at Murrayfield, and Wales beat England at, er, Twickenham. As long as there are no try bonus points, I’ll be happy.

Sexton is clearly crocked. Not sure what’s going on with Murray, but perhaps a place on the bench might do him good.

Also think McCloskey is a much better 12 than Aki on current form – always breaks the gain line.

  46. Saw the changing of the guard for the next Lionz tour this weekend. Murray, Sexton, North, AWJ, Faletau, HalfP, BDB, Tips all joining Warbs in the commentary box, or carrying water.

Looks like an English squad with a few token Scots, young Irish lads, Liambility and maybe a token Welsh scrum half and Wainwright.

  48. thaumaturge's avatarthaumaturge

Aki was better today than he has been for a while, but he wasn’t really making much ground. He did knock on at least once.

Think Ringrose is still playing for Leinster.

Ringrose is crocked. He’d be starting at 13 otherwise.
