Semi-finals! And some other stuff

Pro-14 semi-final playoffs: can anyone stop the Blue Meanies? Can our heroes defeat plucky underdugs Edinburgh?

Cuddly underdug

Then there’s North Island v South Island where, as Iks says, How does one pick ‘my’ team in that N – S clash? Darkness or more Darkness? Sauron vs King Ghidorah? Who are the underdogs?

And some English Premiership matches with some rather gruelling-looking midweek fixtures as well as the weekend ones.

And …

You know what to do

Happy 60th to TRISKAIDEKAPHOBIA!

  1. OT – reminds me of this from about 1.25 onwards.

  2. The Virgin ad’s police force seems more representative than today. Also loved the guy playing Asteroids! Haven’t seen that in years, although my son says he’s played most of the early video games on a website that has them there. I must find it!

  3. TomP – haven’t read the one about the checkers champion. Was too busy doing my criminality to get round to it. Might do so now, since they’ve lifted the ban on booze, but now that I’m part of the criminal underworld, I should probably find something else to deal in. Tried fake Blue Bulls tickets, but there wasn’t a market for them.

A con, Chimpie. Like wot politicians do when they send a few million squids of your hard earned to a mate who sets up a shell company to buy ships to ferry emergency diabetic supplies across the channel .

Yeah, most people aren’t stupid. No games scheduled, so no tickets printed yet.

You should try it with Lions fans. They’re more naive as a rule.
