Pro-14 semi-final playoffs: can anyone stop the Blue Meanies? Can our heroes defeat plucky underdugs Edinburgh?

Then there’s North Island v South Island where, as Iks says, How does one pick ‘my’ team in that N – S clash? Darkness or more Darkness? Sauron vs King Ghidorah? Who are the underdogs?
And some English Premiership matches with some rather gruelling-looking midweek fixtures as well as the weekend ones.
And …

Happy 60th to TRISKAIDEKAPHOBIA!

That advert that was just one for dog food is very very clever. People love talking about their dogs and so they say you should call them up or go online and tell them all about their dog and they will recommend a proper diet for the pooch, very clever

Fuckin knew it, same old collapse despite being the better side for 50 mins, but it’s an 80 minute game.
Congrats to Ulster

Changed my mind Craigs, the last two weeks has seen some exceptional interactions. Bit like going from ‘Mostly Harmless’ to a magnificent view of humanity, earth and all her splendours.

Real Foootball Update:
Last week I went to watch local very low level league favourites AFK Union Zizkov defeat Dolni Chabry B 5-3 in an exciting display of mediocre football.
Today was at a level 4 game between Meteor Praha VIII and Dundee United-lookalikes FK Seko Louny from North West Bohemia. We arrived 15 minutes and at that very moment fan favourite Eric trapped a ball 25 metres out before beating 3 defenders and stroking the ball home for a truly wonderful goal. Meteor went further ahead before Louny’s right midfielder clipped in a fine finish following a decent run.
A second-half of intense pressure from Meteor yielded nothing until they went to a more defensive formation and invited Louny forward. Louny looked somewhat lost and a break saw Meteor get a 3rd.
All told, a good win for the better team. The first goal was a peach and there were some very good pieces of skill shown. One lad, who we’ve been watching for 3 seasons now, has become a very good, skillful player. Some of the other lads seem to have neglected training during the lockdown and have put a few pounds on, but that’s what you’d hope semi-pros would do.

Nice stuff TomP. Any news on when Bohemians start playing again?
There also seems to have been a bit of confusion over whether the Czechs are playing/beating us tomorrow. The Czech FA said the game was off because a couple of players and an official had tested positive, but neither Scotland nor Uefa knew anything about it. Now it is being played with ‘new players’. To be honest I don’t think it will matter much. At least we won’t play 4-6-0 this time. I hope!

Bohemka have started again and sit in 3rd in the league after two games, BB. Am unlikely to go much because it’s limited to 1,000 spectators and I don’t have the season ticket you need to apply for admission.
We talked about the CR-Scotland game and that was the news I heard as well. The squad got named an hour ago. There’s a new coach, only 2 players who’ve played full internationals and a 17-year-old from Sparta:

Ach never say that about a Scotland football team. Or any Scots sports team for that matter. If there’s a way to fuck something up, we’ll find it.
