NOT-HEINIE SEMI-FINALS PREVIEW

There are no Irish teams in them, so hardly worth mentioning!

Might as well think about the Wee Cup too.

Bristol v Bordeaux

In a fight between Bears and Beagles, there can only be one winner, and I’m afraid it’s not the lovable hounds.

Racing 92 v Saracens

French home advantage to edge it.

Exeter v Toulouse

Probably another close one, but French inability to play away to lose it.

Toulon v Leicester

How did the Tiggers make it this far? They won’t get any further.

That was a very entertaining match. Hope the rest of the weekend’s fixtures live up to it. Off to bed, NN!

Match is so boring the commentators are just babbling nonsense now.

  21. Some crunching tackles from Sarries have knocked Racing off their game since I started watching just after half time. Not the most thrilling match but it’s finals footy!

  22. Sarries 14 should never have tried to pick the ball up just now. A gentle nudge and it was a dive over the line and close to out of sight.

  23. Racing scrum pummeled Sarries there.

  24. Defended fanatically so far have Sarries. Finn’s finesse failing.

Something exciting happened! Then fizzled out with a knock-on.

  26. After that sustained pressure from Racing, I think Sarries will be (relatively) happy to only have conceded 3 points. They’re hanging on a bit though. And get out of jail! But looking out on their feet frankly.

    Surprised they didn’t review that.

  28. Massive turnover at the scrum, but Racing knock it on again in the tackle! Sarries need to clear this scrum quickly.

  34. Great try! It’s been onvthe cards for ages now and finally Racing don’t botch the final pass! Great chip from Finn and then the awareness to follow up and play the link. Surely game over as Sarries botch the restart?

Blimey, offside from a kickoff gets blown, that’s unusual

@Ticht – something to be celebrated in the circumstances. Offside from a box-kick would have been more enjoyable I suppose, but that’ll have to do.

  40. Didn’t see the first half, but the 3rd quarter really saw Sarries chuck the kitchen sink at Racing defensively and it appeared to be working. But Racing were relentless and in rhe last 25 minutes they knocked the stuffing and sucked the life out of Sarries. Great win!

Saracens fizzle out, can’t say I am sorry. Surprised the front row stayed on so long, they all looked shot for the last 20. Daly ensured no last minute comeback several times.

Think the stream has a lag, cos it’s only 31 mins, but Exeter have just taken the lead through a try: 7-6.
