Preview: Autumn Nations Cup, Round Four

The briefest of all possible previews.

Georgia v Fiji

Fiji are a very good side, but have not played a test match due to their Covid problems. Georgia were much improved last week. Georgia by 5.

Ireland v Scotland

Both sides looking rather pedestrian at the moment. With the inexplicable void where Hamish McFuckface should be, as well as the return of Sexton and Ireland’s home advantage (and despite the dropping of McCloskey), Ireland by 10.

Wales v Italy

Wales by 25. You know why.

England v France

With France putting out a C side, there is not much doubt: England by 15. Although I suspect France will throw some surprises England’s way.

    Excellent preview.
Resoecrfuly désagréable tvough, I still think Fiji will comfortably win vs Georgia and Scotland will prevail over Ireland. The rest goes without saying.
That game between Oz and Argentina was a very wet squid. Some strange calls for both YCs. Argentina seem to spend all their energy in defence and keep nothing for scrums. But they’ll be happy with their campaign. Two draws in a row in Oz and a serious win vs the ABs is not bad!
Shame for those tweets. French pundits said they were unearthed by people who were pissed at their team after they were thrashed during he second game vs the ABs, thus showing a lack of respect for … yes you guessed it: Maradona! Nothing beats a good conspiracy theory.

Chimp, I think they’d’ve given both France and Scotland a fright. Probably would’ve beaten Italy.
    And possibly Wales.
    HT: Fiji lead 19-10.
    Good game considering the conditions.

Bit disappointed in the draw earlier as had there been a winner they would have been the obvious moral Rugby Championship champions with the best W/D/L record. Still nice to see SH teams play out boring games in bad weather.

We’ve made a couple of key errors, Brown’s no arms tackle, Taylor should have gone for the tackle, Price’s passing has been poor, but we looked much the better side in that half. We look to have a bit of attacking ability.

Fagerson is battering Healy in the scrum, Healy is folding when the pressure comes on.
