Both teams have a prop off with a yellow for mucking about so Turnbull who came on as a sub for Wainwright is now off again. Argentina now have a red for a head-on-head tackle chasing a kick.
13-6 to Argentina at half-time. It was 6-3 to Wales when the sending off happened so a bit like the Ireland game in the 6N only not as good (and that wasn’t great).
The only vaguely interesting thing that might happen is that we get proof that a largely second-string Wales can lose to an Argentina team with 14 men. It’s not really anything to be surprised by. Of course the extra man may tell in the end anyway, but so far Wales look very poor.
Nice offload for another try, 20-6, extra man not telling. Apparently not protecting your own ball at all and missing tackles right left and centre is not the way to get back into the game.
Argentina captain and hooker complained about a Wales throw-in not being straight and the ref more or less told him that neither team had been throwing in straight all game…
Tomos W now inexplicably box kicks with a minute left when Wales need to score to win. Arg kick it back though and the chaser is off-side so Wales get a kick at goal.
Good start by Bristol. Underhill gets a turnover penalty from the kickoff and they drive over from the resulting lineout. Blamire gets his second try in as many games.
Canada blow an easy 2-on-1, by not passing the ball. It’s back for a penalty though and they opt for a scrum in front of the posts. England collapse and the Canadian 9 goes for a quick tap and squeezes over the line.
Watched Wales/Arg followed by a documentary about England 2003 called Building Jerusalem. The documentary, although short of suspense was far better than the game in Cardiff. Always liked (and felt sorry at the same time , for his obsessive dedication and injuries) for Wilko. Dawson and Martin Johnson also came across well.
Without 8 Lions, Wales showed their lack of depth. A bit like Australia vs France. I fear rugby is shrinking rather than growing.
Wales-Argentina on. Didn’t see either teamsheet so no idea of the sides.

Argentina have just had to bring Chocobares on, should be playing for Sweetland (the Little One’s favourite football team) really.

Don’t know what it is about Wales players’ heads, think that’s the fourth red in seven games for our opponents?

Both players at least seem to be OK.

Ok, I glanced at the TV and legitimately thought that was Prince Harry for a sec, before realising it’s Patchell.

He speaks better Welsh than Prince Harry.

Only saw from about twenty minutes in, but the game in that time has had absolutely nothing to recommend it.

Tomos Williams puts Rowlands over from close range, 20-13.

Sanchez has missed a couple of difficult penalties and Arg are starting to make some poor mistakes so the draw is still on.

Holmes drops the scoring pass just before the line and back for a penalty. Wales stuff up the close range stuff by getting held up short. Ho hum.

Tomos Williams (who looks better at rugby than anyone else in this game) goes over from a 5m scrum.

Still ten to go though so Wales have drawn level a bit too soon to be sure of getting out of this with a draw.

Some Argentinian replacement or other misses another long shot at goal. Commentator says Ryan Elias was on the piss or something.
In contrast to Williams, Jarrod Evans has been crap since he came on. Wales get a good position and throw it away, draw still on.

Jarrod misses and it’s a draw. Last minute or so was properly representative of most of what went before.

The yellow card AND penalty try thing really helps in games that are already mismatches.

Nice solo try by Radwan. Pen advantage and he’s passed the ball in the middle of the pitch. He just glides through the Canadian defence.

Genge breaks the line and is close to scoring, but for good cover by the Canadian defence. The ball goes wide to Joe C and he scored in the corner.

Bloody hell, Canada have been pinged for offside at the restart.

Joe C scores his second, barrelling down the wing, through Nelson, the Canadian 10 and carrying another player over the line with him/

I’m recording this, tell me if Marcus Smith has a good game and I’ll watch it, it’s going to be brutal for Canada I think.

He’s kicking well from the tee and from hand so far.

Yellow for Ludlow. He accidentally kneed the Canadian 3 in the head, as he tried to put his leg through a ruck to hook the ball back.

Canada actually make use of an overlap this time, the ball going out to Lloyd on the wing to score.

@Thaum – it was an odd one. I can see how that could be anything from just a pen, all the way to a red.

Yeah, but – it’s a knee to the face. It doesn’t matter if it was accidental (which is open to interpretation anyway).
