Not good by Biggar. Ball dies on Duhan vd Merwe who can’t hold on. Abrahams to Volmink and the Sharks under the posts.

Hill in at the side and clears a nice gap for Beirne to stroll through. 26 a piece.

Lions need to tighten up, they are trying to fling it about for the sake of it

Well, as things stand my test team is Sutherland, any one of the three hookers who have all been good, Furlong, Itoje, Lawes, Beirne, Watson, A No 8, Price, Biggar, vd Merwe A Centre, A Centre, Adams, Liambility.

Those are the players who need to be knocked out of the shirts, imo

Aki is looking a likely starter as one of the A Centres

Williams must have played a blinder to oust Hogg from the team?

  38. That’s a bit of a kick inna baws for USA. They’ve put Ireland under all sorts of pressure for most of the first 15 mins, to no avail. Then Balacoune just runs around everyone to score.

  39. What did Hendrickse get a red for? Was braaiing so didn’t see. Sharks looked much more competitive in the 1st half, but I fancy even with 15 on the park the Lions would have won comfortably in the end. Maybe not quite so easily, but comfortably enough.

Haven’t seen an Irish player smiling yet, apart from all the ones who’ve been grinning away. Bastards!

BB, I think he is as safe as they come, Hogg can oust Williams when he plays next

that team is just my opinion of course, others are available.

Richardson dragged a Lions player into touch, the players fell to the ground and Hendrikse came in late and landed an elbow on the back of Liam Williams’ head.

Fair Play to Hendrickse – Liam Williams is bloody annoying. A smarter player would simply have chosen a location a bit more than 2 metres from camera ‘though.

  48. Absolutely a red. On the other hand, the red given to the US flank was one of the shittest decisions I’ve ever seen in a rugby match. FFS, he went for a genuine tackle and the margins were miniscule. Absolute crap. Unless they change the law to say only tackle below the waist, you could probably red card about 80% of players in a match.

  49. Was that tackle more dangerous than a prop deliberately dropping a scrum? Why no red cards for that? The blazers need firing into the sun for their uselessness.
