Have you seen how much paperwork an army has to fill in if it wants to invade the EU from the UK? Yet enough Brexiteer lie exposed.

An army can invade the EU from the UK without too much paperwork as long as it starts off in Northern Ireland. Got to get the one you want to use there first though.

Sadly, the TV where we are eating is showing ‘Boyband Heaven’ videos. None of them have made me change my opinion that manufactured boy bands peaked with the Monkees.
There’s lots of ‘meaningful looks’, bad dancing, weird hand gestures, aggressive pointing of the fingers and so on.

Just to correct the very bad music towards rightness:

    Or a more feminine version:

I once tried out for a band (singing), and they suggested I try this song. I said, Are you insane? I can’t sing that high.

There’s a Pat Benatar version of this, but this one’s just better:

  15. 20-20 early in the 2nd half between Aus and France. Then a breakout from inside their 22 and a length if the field try by France breaks the deadlock! 20-27 and Aus are down to 14 with someone obviously red carded in the 1st half.

  16. France try it again from the restart and cough up a penalty just outside the 22. Poor decision-making. Aus batter away and score under the posts.

England U20s featured a winger with a name like my old dad’s motor-bike.
The speedster is named Arthur Relton and he had an excellent tournament.
Inspired name for a winger and will feature for Exeter 1st XV very soon.

Good morale boosting win for 14 men Oz, 33/30.
Entertaining game. Galthié has uncovered several tadpoles who should compete for the first XV. Some gems in there: Jaminet, Barlot, Azagoh, Gros, a few confirmations: Woki, Vincent, Danty, Couilloud, Jelonch, Cretin, Barassi, Tao, Bamba. A couple of disappointing performances though, from Carbonnel, Bouthier, Macalou.

The only thing better than driving along Speyside in beautiful sunny weather would be visiting the many distilleries along the way. Sadly, Mrs BB did not share this view, for some reason. Didn’t help when the ones I did try only accepted pre-bookings. Something to do with some global pandemic it seems. Although the shop at Dalwhinnie let me in without booking. Still, did manage to buy some Aberlour 10 Yr old whisky in the general whisky shop there, so some good came out of the day.

Ticht, you’re lucky to have mlssed the rest.
Besides a couple of nice early moves by Wales, depleted Wales vs rusty Argentina produced a terribly poor game. More knockons than a game between pub teams in slippery January. And yet it was sunny with some excellent players on both sides. A strange lack of ambition from both teams. Kick and rush from Wales, one pass rugby from Arg. Why not try something new ?
    Ach…

Good Lions defence drives Stormers back, turnover by Adams. Price off and looked good, New front row as well. George fluffs his first lineout throw, but its a penalty., so attacking linout again. Zandr gives a way a penalty, so Stormers clear.
