Yours Truly started experiencing this problem after installing the Duck Duck Go extensions for Chrome. It was particularly annoying because, since it wouldn’t ‘remember’ me, it also forgot I was the site admin.
This fix is for Chrome, but other browsers will no doubt have similar fixes.
While you are visiting OvallyBalls, click on the padlock to the left of the URL:
Click on Cookies and site data….
… then on Manage cookies and site data …
… and then you may see an entry that indicates that wordpress is not allowed to save data to your device. Click the three vertical dots next to it, then Allow to save data, and Done. Voilà!
Refitman has helpfully commented that Firefox has a similar setting you can change. In Settings, go to ‘Privacy & Security’, then scroll down to ‘Cookies & Site Data’. You can then add the OvallyBalls url to the exceptions list, to allow it to save data.

The most annoying thing about the WP update, is I can’t type a comment, then press TAB, Enter to post. That brings up a re-login screen. I have to actually click the reply button.
