More Fun with Our European Friends

As I’m w*rking this evening, only time for a quick update on the televised matches.

The last person who criticised the brevity of my posts.*
*Or possibly the one who said they preferred the short ones.

  2. @Ticht, yes I picked up on that news about Cosgrove and it’s a real tragedy. To be honest I never saw him play for the Drags, but he looks like the kind of front 5 player we need.

It’s an eye injury picked up in training apparently, which of course has repercussions regarding his life outside rugby.

The Drags got themselves into a mess regarding player insurance issues with Andrew Coombs, so I hope they handle this case properly.

I was about to complain about Clancy’s uselessness, but what’s the point?

Just read back over what I’ve already written over the last ten years and take it as read.

Rhys Priestland scores a try reminiscent of JDI v Bath about 30 years. Dummies a pass to the right maybe even a drop goal (Jiffy dummied a drop goal) and skins the defenders to run in from 25 metres.

Jiffy’s was better. A gorgeous try:

That programme on Doddie was a tough watch at the end there, but what he’s done since he was diagnosed is amazing. There is definitely a change in him now, but he’ll keep fighting.

Andrew Brace is proper Irish sounding now. Very generous advantage given there.

    Clermont are playing rubbish again.

To be sure. The lilting Cantonian accent has been replaced by a foghorn on squeaky setting.

Moala crashes over. Clermont still not very good.

Healey and Dallaglio massively overhyping the English club as per.

I remember his ban for biting before he came to Edinburgh, I hoped it was a one off, but he has been prone to “moments” since joining Edinburgh, let’s put it that way.

No doubt he is an international class prop, but he needs to screw the nut.

BB, I’m told the Wasps pack got mullered against Exeter last week, we didn’t have anything like that sort of dominance, though we were on top and Clancy reffed us out of dominance, so we’ll go down to Coventry next week and try to get on top again

Clermont massively improved after a frankly rubbish first half, but don’t think they’ve been at their best despite the rout.

This was largely a B team for ASM so a win with a BP is almost a miracle.
Tomp, Ezeala has played for SpainU18 but also for a France 7 friendly. He wants to play for France where he arrived aat the age of 15. I doubt he’ll make it. Not Fijian enough.

Good vid, Tam, I like him he is a good young ref who has a big future ahead of him, imo.

It’s a terrible shame that his sexuality is even a story, I mean who really has any right to give a flying fuck?
And if they do, then fuck them, the morons.

Also, a strong statement about scrum halves becoming referees earlier.
