More Fun with Our European Friends

As I’m w*rking this evening, only time for a quick update on the televised matches.

The last person who criticised the brevity of my posts.*
*Or possibly the one who said they preferred the short ones.

Lucky Ospreys there – could have had a second red, but ref saw nothing wrong.

Murphy bottled that decision, if he hadn’t issued so many cards that would have been at least a yellow

” If it stops people Biggaring people inna face, I’m all for it.”

Not sure sticking a leg out is something I would really associate with Biggar. More Halfpenny or going back a bit Lee Byrne. Think it might be more a defensive thing that fullbacks go for perhaps? Obviously Dan B uses his knee exactly as described by Ben Smith in TomP’s vid, but doesn’t everyone?

@Ticht – you seem to have missed out Nighthawks. This is the one (minus the intro) I used to sing to my eldest when she was a baby. Might have had half an eye on annoying Mrs CMW.

Used to enjoy roaring “Eggs and sausage” or “Chilli in a bowl” at her as well when such dishes were served. Little things please little minds and all that.

@Deebee – yes it would. You don’t seem to understand that Liverpool are only likeable relative to the Manchester teams, Chelsea etc. All decent people would want Leicester or similar to hunt them down.

Liverpool v Man City is like South Africa v England for the World Cup. Leicester are more like Wales or New Zealand.

Remembering to send out the invitations is a very important part of organising a birthday party (I should know) even a Blues one.

Swordfish Trombones was a stylistic change, he moved away from what I’ve always thought of as his musical answer to Kerouac and Bukowski , and Film Noir, into a more abstract style.

Ticht passed up the opportunity to prefer the original version of Jersey Girl to Bruce’s one so I’ll step into the breach.

CMW, it’s really not easy to choose which songs to post, imo.

I love Jersey Girl, it’s one of my favourites, but how could I not go with the song that contains the line, “You know there ain’t no Devil that’s just God when he’s drunk”?
